Of the next step...

I'm talking to a client via Phoenyx's client services. His knowledge of our partner's brand is limited, so he finds the prices difficult to justify to himself. In cases like this it is easy to conclude that there can be no transaction. And sometime this is true. Yet this conclusion must be a million miles away at this stage.


At this stage what there is, is what is next. Next is to understand what he needs in detail. Then next is to understand why, a function of paying attention. Finally next is to jointly examine together our capacity to meet these needs, and meet them in a way that makes it all worth it. Only then do we check this value against the quoted price.


It is a simple principle, that of the next step. Or of taking things one at a time. Yet it has been of immeasurable service, in service to others.
