Empathy & Advisory
In any transaction there is need to know all the players. Partners, clients, and suppliers all, their coherence in many ways drives the final outcome - afterall, any value chain (or process of delivering a product or service) depends on how they all interact.
As a partner or supplier, perhaps the best way is simply to put oneself in the shoes of the others. To ask what our expectations would be and imagine how we would like these met. From this viewpoint things like things like standards take on a much more practical meaning.
In any case I think this both the beginning of empathy and the birth of responsibility - two of the most compelling forces ever to drive results in business. Certainly they drive our perspective, as individuals and as the Phoenyx Advisory team.
